Hide Your Controls for a Clean Preview
Great for working, distracting for actually watching your animation back.
When you’re building an animation in Fusion, the controls and on-screen handles in your viewer are extremely useful. They let you select elements, adjust positions, manipulate masks, and make changes directly inside the viewer.
But when you simply want to sit back and watch your animation play, all those controls can get in the way.
There’s a quick way to hide them.
While you’re in the Fusion page, right-click inside the Viewer to open the context menu. Find Show Controls and turn it off.
Your viewer immediately becomes much cleaner, hiding the on-screen controls while leaving your animation visible.
There’s also a keyboard shortcut that makes this even faster. Press Command + K to toggle the controls on and off.
This is particularly useful when you’re switching between editing and previewing. Keep the controls enabled while you’re building and adjusting your animation, then turn them off when you want to watch the result without all the visual clutter.
Once you’re ready to make adjustments again, simply toggle Show Controls back on.
It’s a tiny workflow trick, but it makes previewing your Fusion animations feel much cleaner.
Build with the controls on. Preview with them off.
